Bio

Sing Cher is a founding partner of Tahan Capital Management and serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel. He has more than 26 years of experience in legal and structuring matters. At Tahan Capital, he oversees legal and compliance, operations, business development and finance, and provides legal and structuring support for transactions.

Sing Cher holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queen Mary, University of London, where he was awarded the Drapers’ Prize for academic excellence. Prior to founding Tahan Capital, Sing Cher was a structurer in UBS’s Asia Strategic Trading & Investment team, focusing on structured credit products and private financing. In particular, he was involved in managing and restructuring credit portfolios at UBS following the 2008 Global Financial Crisis.
